From SanoLabs, the makers of the Sam app

Several conditions, one app

In Sam, each condition gets its own program with a diary and a doctor's report, all in one app. You bring the report that fits each appointment.

Common combinations

How it works with several conditions

  1. Pick one program per conditionYou confirm that a doctor has diagnosed the condition.
  2. Keep one diary per programIts own fields, a monthly questionnaire and its own doctor's report as a PDF.
  3. Bring the matching reportThe migraine report to neurology, the high blood pressure report to your GP.

Common questions about several conditions

Can I log several conditions in Sam at the same time?+

Yes. The programs run side by side, each with its own diary, its own monthly questionnaire and its own doctor's report. You log each entry in the program it belongs to.

Which doctor's report do I bring to an appointment?+

Each program creates its own doctor report as a PDF, and you bring the one that fits the office. Ask beforehand which period the office wants to see.

Which conditions have a program?+

High blood pressure, migraine, epilepsy, panic disorder, asthma, hay fever, reflux and gout. Other conditions, such as diabetes or atrial fibrillation, have guide pages but no program. You can still log symptoms in the symptom diary.

How do I start a medical program?+

You pick the program and confirm that a doctor has diagnosed the condition. Then you start with the diary.

What do the figures for the common combinations tell me?+

They come from studies and clinical information listed on each pair page, in the section on why the two occur together. They describe how often two conditions occur together, not why. What that means for you is for your doctor to say.

What should I do if I have acute symptoms?+

If you have acute or serious symptoms, call your local emergency number. For non-urgent concerns, contact your doctor or local out-of-hours service. A diary replaces neither.

All your programs in one place

Start with the condition that has your next appointment.

Sam is a wellness companion, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition and does not replace a doctor. If you have acute symptoms, call your local emergency number; for non-urgent concerns, contact your doctor.
