A challenge in Sam: 10,000 steps on 25 of 30 days, with a button to join

Join in. Keep at it. Earn the badge.

  • One target, a set window

10,000 steps on 25 of 30 days, a steady bedtime, calm days or as many workouts as you fit in. Days count from the day you join.

  • Race your friends

Invite friends with a link and race inside the challenge. Only with your OK do they see your day count or total, nothing else.

  • A badge to keep

Finish it and the badge goes on your shelf, with a certificate you can share.

This month's challenges on the Self-Improvement tab, each with a Join button

Right under your programs.

Challenges sit on the Self-Improvement tab, below your programs and your monthly report. A challenge counts what those programs already record, so there is nothing extra to log. The report keeps the whole month, the challenge is one goal on top.

What happens if I join a challenge late?

Only the days from the day you join count. Join late and fewer days are left to reach the target, so joining early gives you the most room.

Which lifestyle programs have challenges?

Movement, Sleep, Stress and Workouts. New challenges come out regularly, so what is live changes from month to month. When none is running, the section on the Self-Improvement tab is simply not there.

Can I race a friend?

Yes. Invite friends to a challenge with a link and race each other. Only with your OK do they see your progress, as a day count or a total, never your readings. Every challenge works solo too.

What do I get for finishing?

A badge on your shelf and a certificate you can share.

Does a challenge say anything about my health?

No. A challenge counts what you did: steps, bedtimes, calm days, sessions. It does not measure a health outcome. Sam is a wellness app, not a medical device.
