Medication
Reminders that live inside your condition.
A standalone pill reminder only tells you it is 8am. Sam prompts the dose, records the check-off, and keeps that record next to the symptoms, sleep signals and monthly questionnaire from the same program. Acute medication is logged inside the attack entry it belongs to, so the whole month reads as one document at your next appointment.

A medication log your doctor can actually read
The reminder sits inside a Medical Program, so intake never ends up stranded in a separate app you have to screenshot.
Per-dose check-off
Set the medication, the times and the days. Sam prompts you and you tick the dose off. A dose left unticked simply stays open - Sam does not score you on it.
Acute medication in the attack entry
As-needed doses are logged with the attack, flare or seizure they were taken for, so how often you reached for them is visible across the month.
Present in 12 of the 15 condition families
From migraine and epilepsy to reflux, asthma and high blood pressure, medication is part of the condition program itself, not a bolt-on.
One monthly report
Doses, symptom entries, Apple Health signals and the monthly instrument print on the same doctor-friendly PDF, month after month.
Three steps to a medication log for your appointment
- 1
Add your medications
Enter what your prescriber has you on - name, dose, times, days. You do this once.
- 2
Tick off each dose
Sam reminds you on schedule and you confirm with one tap. Anything taken acutely goes into that day's attack entry.
- 3
Take the record with you
At the appointment, open the monthly report: what was scheduled, what was taken, and what was added acutely alongside your symptoms.
Sam reminds and records - it never advises.
Sam is a wellness companion, not a medical device. It never suggests a dose, a time or a change, and it never judges whether a medication is working. In the asthma program the schedule covers the preventer or controller only, never the reliever. Every medication decision belongs to your prescriber.
Common questions
Does Sam tell me whether my medication is working?+
No. Sam reminds you and records what you took. Whether a treatment is working, whether a dose fits, or whether anything should change is judged solely by the doctor who prescribed it.
How does the asthma program handle inhalers?+
The schedule is meant for the preventer or controller you take on a fixed regimen. The reliever is deliberately kept out of the schedule - you log a reliever use inside the entry for the episode it was used for.
Can I log as-needed medication?+
Yes. Acute or as-needed doses are recorded inside the attack, flare or seizure entry, so the dose and the episode stay attached to each other in the report.
Which programs include medication reminders?+
Twelve of the fifteen condition families Sam covers, including migraine, epilepsy, high blood pressure, reflux, asthma and hay fever.
How is this different from a standalone pill reminder?+
The reminder does not stand alone. It sits inside your condition program, next to your symptom log, your Apple Health signals and the monthly questionnaire - so you leave with one report instead of five screenshots.
